Safety

Quanta Services is committed to the health and safety of its employees, customers, contractors and communities. Providing and maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority. At Quanta, safety takes precedence over all business pursuits and practices. Quanta’s Total Injury & Illness Rate has declined each year and remains significantly below the industry average. The company is dedicated to building on this achievement by continuously improving our safety practices and policies.

Safety Leadership:
As a recognized industry leader, Quanta helped to form the OSHA Electrical Transmission and Distribution Strategic Partnership. The partnership works to identify and evaluate health and safety hazards associated with electrical transmission and distribution work. The partnership – comprised of OSHA, electrical construction contractors, the IBEW and key trade associations – aims to reduce the number of fatalities, injuries and illnesses in the industry through implementation of best practices and collaborative training programs.

Safety Mission:
Incorporating proactive safety management systems and occupational health processes to mitigate and eliminate accidents and injuries is our safety mission. To achieve this mission, Quanta creates a working environment that places the highest value on the health and welfare of the employee, customer, client and community, and operates in a way that preserves and protects the environment. These objectives empower Quanta employees to embrace a standard of safety excellence.
