Quanta Government Solutions (QGS) together with Quanta International, Ltd. (QIL) aggregates Quanta's operational capabilities in order to provide a turnkey contracting solution for the U.S. government and government-owned utility companies worldwide. QGS and QIL provide a single point of contact for business development, project management, U.S. government compliance, contract administration, logistics and subcontracting at the local country level for international projects. In 2006, QGS was part of a team successfully awarded the multi-year, multi-billion dollar Air Force Heavy Engineering Repair & Construction (HERC) contract for work performed primarily in the Middle East region. QGS also maintains an active role in diversity programs, and has a teaming agreement with Blue Tech, Inc., a woman-owned small business that was awarded the Minority Small Business of the Year in 2005. Through Blue Tech, QGS is accessible via 12 Department of Defense contract vehicles.
For international work, QIL has completed worked with Exxon Mobil Corporation on the Chad/Cameroon Development Project, and with the partially privatized Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) in Karachi, Pakistan. QIL maintains a representative regional office in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and has a business agent network throughout the Middle East to include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq.
