Since its formation in 2008, Quanta Renewable Energy Services (QRES) has established itself as of the EPC leader for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of large commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) facilities. QRES has more than 100 MW of projects completed or currently under construction. QRES offers a full menu of services to our customers including:

Eurus Energy Holdings and NRG Solar: Three adjacent projects (Avenal Park, Sun City and Sand Drag) totaling 45MWac – 450,900 modules and 45 inverters

  • Optimized project design and implementation process within given parameters
  • Performed site preparation and underground distribution system
  • Installed photovoltaic array structure and performed grid interconnection
  • Procured electrical equipment
  • Designed and installed 34.5kV distribution system and 34.5/70kV substation
  • Expected completion by summer 2011

Meridian (Cleantech): 5 MWac – 50,040 modules and 5 inverters

  • Upon completion in 2009, the CalRENEW-1 project was the fourth largest solar photovoltaic project in California.
  • Optimized project design and implementation process within given parameters
  • Performed site preparation and underground distribution system
  • Installed photovoltaic array structure and performed grid interconnection
  • Procured electrical equipmentDesigned and installed 70 kV Substation
  • Completed in four months, August 2009 – November 2009

Sempra Energy: 10 MWac – 167,400 modules and 10 inverters

  • Solar PV plant is located on more than 88 acres and will produce 17.5 million kWh annually
  • Performed site preparation and underground distribution system
  • Installed and interconnected array structure and grid connection
  • Completed in six months, June 2008 – December 2008
